My husband and I renovate 3-4 houses per year, and most of the renovations are quite extensive. Bob Lally of BTS Contracting, Inc., was referred to me in 2006 when I was looking for a new general contractor, and he has been involved in every project we have done since then. He is particularly great with demo, structural, drywall, and general carpentry type of work.

Bob and his crew get in and get right to work. They are often working at the site without any supervision, and anytime I drop in unanncounced I always find them at work. He always talks to me as an equal, never treating me as "little lady" (I hate that!). Bob and his crew are very punctual - if he tells me he'll be on the job at 7:00 am, I can count on him being there at 6:59 am, and they always completed the job in progress before moving on to another.

Much of our work is done on properties built in the 1920's. As a result, we often encounter unexpected issues as we demo. And sometimes I simply change plans mid-stream as ideas come up. Bob has done a great job of adjusting to my changing whims as I go along. He also does a great job of communicating - problems they've found, status of the project, estimated time for completion, availability, needs for materials, etc.

I have always felt like Bob is fair about his charges and is trustworthy. In fact, I would have no hesitation to give him a key to my personal residence if we had a project there.

I am a manager at a high volume casual dining restaurant and bar. In my business it is imperative to have a good working partnership with a dependable contractor and construction company. Because my location is open odd hours it is a must that our vendors and business partners are flexible. Due to the high volume of guests, employees, and food preparation there is an excessive amount of wear and tear to my building and equipment. Dear Bob,
There are truly no words that can express our gratitude to you and your volunteers. Although we tried several times we were unable to accomplish what you did in just a few days. It is so rare that anyone is willing to take time out of their busy schedules to lend a hand to help others. Your generosity went beyond anything we ever expected. Taylor has been swimming almost every day since and is getting stronger every day. He is able to move around freely during family cookouts and is accessing the yard more than ever. He is so happy and proud that he can independently take the dog for a walk because all he has to do is walk down the ramp to the yard. We have been telling everyone about the beautiful work you do. Dear Bob,
We have used the handicap ramp many times since you finished it. We certainly have much more incentives to go out since the ramp has eliminated all the problems we had before. We have nothing but favorable comments from our friends on how attractive and well constructed it is. I felt you should know this since you designed and built it.
